Muse - Live at Rome Olympic Stadium |
There really isn't a whole lot to say except for that it's the awesomeness of Muse in crystal clear quality. It's the most visually stunning concert DVD that I've ever seen. I'm not sure how you make HD more HD but they pulled it off.
The concert itself is about what you would expect from Muse at this point. They play through their hits with a heavy weight on the number of songs from the latest album (in this case, The 2nd Law). They have some bizarre stage props and videos. In this particular concert, however, they also have actors doing bizarre things. For instance, during their cover of "Feeling Good," there was an actress up on the stage, dressed in a pinstripe suit, drowning herself in gasoline from a retro gas pump.
If you're a Muse fan, this is a must-watch. You'll enjoy it like all of the other concert DVDs they have. It comes with the Blu-Ray (or DVD depending on which version you get) of the Rome concert, a few US concert videos, and a documentary (I think, haven't watched that part yet). It also comes with a CD with some of the songs from the Rome concert.
